Purpose
This policy applies alongside our Terms of Service. It describes acceptable and unacceptable ways to use FinDock. If you're using the site to answer a real-world question honestly, you're almost certainly fine.
What you're welcome to do
You can use FinDock's calculators for personal decisions, study, and everyday professional work. You can share the results with clients, colleagues, students, or friends, and you can use the tools as often as you like.
What you agree not to do
To keep the service healthy and lawful, you agree not to:
- Use FinDock for anything unlawful, or to facilitate unlawful activity.
- Present a calculator result as certified professional advice in a way that misleads or harms someone.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site or the servers that deliver it.
- Probe or attack the site's security, or try to access areas or data you aren't meant to.
- Scrape or automate access at a scale that degrades the service for others.
- Copy the site to create a substantially identical competing product, or strip out attribution and notices.
Commercial use
Using the free calculators as part of your work, pricing a job, checking a margin, preparing a client estimate, is fine. Formal commercial arrangements such as white-labeling, embedding FinDock inside another product, or bulk licensing are a roadmap concept and would be covered by a separate agreement when available.
Reporting problems
If you spot a calculation that looks wrong, or someone misusing the tools, let us know. Reporting an issue helps us keep results accurate and the service reliable.
Enforcement
We may take steps to protect the service and its users, including rate-limiting or blocking activity that breaches this policy. Because FinDock doesn't require accounts, enforcement is generally about protecting availability rather than penalizing individuals.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product grows. The date at the top reflects the latest review.
