Agreeing to these terms
By accessing or using FinDock, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Disclaimer. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the site.
What FinDock is
FinDock is a free, browser-based collection of calculators for finance, business, percentages, health, education, dates, measurements, and everyday math. Calculations run on your device, and you don't need an account to use them.
It is a tool for working out numbers and understanding how they're derived. It is not a financial institution, a medical service, a tax preparer, or a professional advisor.
For information only, not advice
Everything FinDock produces is for general information and educational purposes. Results are not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or professional advice, and using a calculator does not create any professional or advisory relationship.
For decisions that carry real consequences, taking on a loan, changing your diet, choosing an investment, or reporting grades officially, please consult a suitably qualified professional and rely on their guidance over any figure produced here.
Estimates and assumptions
Calculators use standard, documented formulas and the values you enter. Many results are estimates that depend on assumptions, an interest rate you typed in, a rounding rule, a standard health formula, or a grading scale.
Real-world figures from a bank, insurer, employer, or institution may differ. You're responsible for checking important results against the authoritative source before you act on them.
Your responsibilities
When you use FinDock, you agree to:
- Enter accurate information, the quality of a result depends on the quality of your inputs.
- Use results as one input to a decision, not as the final word.
- Verify anything important with an official source or a qualified professional.
- Use the site lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Accounts, pricing, and payments
FinDock's core calculators are free and require no account. Any paid tiers described on the pricing page are a roadmap concept: there is currently no checkout, no billing provider, and no payment is processed. Nothing on the site charges you today.
Intellectual property
The FinDock name, design, written explanations, and the arrangement of the calculators are owned by FinDock and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the calculators and share their results freely. You may not copy the site wholesale, remove notices, or present FinDock's content as your own product.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep FinDock available and accurate, but we provide it as-is. We may add, change, or remove calculators and features, and the site may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. Because calculations run in your browser, most tools keep working once a page has loaded.
No warranties
FinDock is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that results will be error-free or suitable for your specific situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinDock and its contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results, including financial loss, missed opportunities, or decisions made using a calculation. You use the tools at your own discretion and risk.
Links to other sites
FinDock may link to third-party websites and resources for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or policies. Following a link is at your own risk.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last reviewed. If you keep using FinDock after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
